Sunshine time

I awakened with a sense that something was not right. It was early, but I was alone. The house was silent. Where had she gone? I wandered through, calling out for her, but then through a window I could see... Ah, the sunshine had arrived. She likes her sunshine, even enough to sneak and creep away from me, to be sitting there with eyes shut like a lizard on a rock.Whereas I, being more a slothful creature of the shade, retreated in silence and went back to bed.

So long as the sunshine was warm rather than hot I would happily join your lady.

The Scottish sunshine is generally a fairly soft and soothing soak rather than a harsh blast EC. I have never been to Australia but when I went to Nebraska under mid-summer clear skies I struggled under the blast of a yellow furnace flame unlike anything I had ever experienced. Here in Scotland 20 degrees C is a hot day and 24 degrees is "roasting". I like it here.

What a beautifully green terrace to sit in to absorb the sun. And it's just outdoor. No wonder cats visit you. You probably hear many birds too.

It is always lovely to sit in silence soaking up the atmosphere :-)
